Goldsmiths students have a fairly great selection of places to go down in New Cross. London's most stylish college students strike the Amersham Arms for gigs and club evenings. Check out SKIPtheatre, it's a evening of Live Music and theatrical performances from women who love to skip, seems fairly bizarre but it's extremely cool. There are great gigs at the New Cross Inn and the Goldsmiths Student Union host some fantastic nights as well with very inexpensive beverages on offer.
The Glass House is a bit outside of Los Angeles and Hollywood, situated in Pomona, correct close to Cal-Poly. It is a great deal like The Roxy. One of the nice issues about The Glass House is that tickets can be bought through Goldenvoice, avoiding the higher charges that Ticketmaster costs.
